Mr Henry was a native of Kirkmabreck, and for many years resided at Kirkbridge and Barholm of Kirkdale, and latterly farmer at Barvennan, parish of Penninghame.
His funeral took place at Kirkmabrack parish church. The chief mourners were the seven sons of the deceased and Mr Robert walker Henry and Mr William Henry, Kirkbride (brothers). He is survived by a widow and large family of sons.
