Fatal Cycling Accident.

A fatal cycling accident occurred near the village of Crossmichael on Monday evening. Robert Wilson, stonebreaker, Blairinnie Cottage, Crossmichael was cycling home from Castle Douglas shortly after 8 o'clock and when going down Manse Brae at the entrance to the village it appears he lost control. Just at the corner the wheels skidded and Wilson was thrown over the handlebars and found to be dead.

Deceased, who was nearly 60 years of age, leaves a widow and family.
