Miss Barbara Wilson, only surviving daughter of the late Mr (William) Wilson, schoolmaster at Southwick 50 years ago, died at Southwick Bank on Friday morning after a short illness.

She was born at Cushat Grove, the old schoolhouse, about 75 or 76 years ago. A few years after her father's death she and her mother removed to Southwick Bank where she was predeceased by her mother 16 years ago.

She was buried at Southwick Churchyard, the principal mourners being her brother, Dr Wilson, London, Messrs Hyslop, nephews, and Mr Graham, Corsock.
